DuBois Man Taken to Hospital After Crashing in Henderson Township


HENDERSON TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A DuBois man was taken to the hospital following a vehicle crash Sunday morning in Henderson Township.

According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, Edward L. Whately, 31, was driving a 2003 Mercury Mountaineer north on Route 119 when he started to brake while approaching a curve in the snow-covered road.

The vehicle slid off the road and hit a tree before traveling down a small embankment.

Whately, who was wearing a seatbelt, was taken to Penn Highlands DuBois by DuSan Ambulance for treatment of a minor injury.

Big Run Volunteer Fire Company and Brosius Towing assisted at the scene.
