DUI Suspect Facing Slew of Charges Following Brookville Traffic Stop

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – A Brookville man is facing multiple charges in connection with a July 8 traffic stop in the borough.

The following charges have been filed against Mark Daniel Seaver, 48, of Brookville:

– Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 07/08/2015
– DUI: Gen Imp/Inc of Driving Safely – 1st Off 07/08/2015
– DUI: Controlled Substance – Impaired Ability – 1st
– DUI: Controlled Substance – Combination Alcohol/Drugs – 1st Offense
– Driving Unregistered Vehicle
– Driving W/O A License
– Driving While BAC .02 or Greater While License Suspended
– Disregard Traffic Lane (Single)
– Turning Movements And Required Signals
– Exceed 65 OR 70 MPH For All Vehicles By 17 MPH
– Careless Driving
– Restrictions on Alcoholic Beverages
– Fail to use safety belt – driver and front seat occupant

Seaver was placed in the Jefferson County Jail after failing to post $25,000 cash bail.

A preliminary hearing is set for September 3 before District Magistrate George M. Bazylak.
