Dustin Vawn Truckley, Jr.

Screen Shot 2015-12-20 at 9.34.55 AMDustin Vawn Truckley, Jr., age 11, of New Bethlehem, passed away, unexpectedly in his sleep, from natural causes, early Friday morning, December 18, 2015 at his home.

Born January 23, 2004 in Indiana, he was a son of Dustin Vawn Truckley, Sr. and Bobbie Jo Shaffer Truckley of New Bethlehem.

Dustin was a 5th grade student and the Redbank Valley Intermediate School.

He was a volunteer for the Salvation Army and loved to hunt, fish, play baseball and catch snapping turtles.

Survivors include his parents, Dustin and Bobbie; two brothers: Dakota Miller of Indiana and Darenger John Truckley of New Bethlehem; three sisters: Kayla Shaffer of Texas; Champaine Miller of Indiana and Trinidy Truckley of New Bethlehem.

Dustin is also survived by his grandparents: Paternal Grandmother, Kimberly Ann Martin and Dennis of Slate Lick; Paternal Grandfather, Tim Brink (Denise) of Florida; Maternal Grandmother, Susan Blatt (Lyle) of Creekside and Maternal Great Grandmother, Rose Mell of Indiana along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family and friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. Monday, December 21, 2015 at the Oakland Church of God, 122 Kohlersburg Road, Distant.

Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. Monday, in the church. Reverend Jimmy Swogger, pastor of the Oakland Church of God, will officiate over the service.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Rupert Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 301 Penn Street, New Bethlehem, PA 16242, to help with expenses.
