Earla Irene Kommer, 87, of Beaver Falls, passed away at Allegheny General Hospital in Wexford on March 29, 2024.
Earla was born in Punxsutawney to the late Isaac and Alice (Bone) Tyger.
Earla married the love of her life Ronald S. Kommer, Sr. on May 20, 1960 and he preceded her in death in December of 2017.
Earla was a family-oriented woman who strived to be the best wife and mother she could be.
She provided for her children and enjoyed cooking various meals for them.
Earla worked many years as an administrative specialist for the George Brown Insurance Agency in Chippewa, and the Larrymore Organization Real Estate Co. in Virginia Beach, VA.
Earla is survived by her son, Ronald S. (Julie) Kommer, Jr.
She also leaves behind two grandchildren: Scott (Julie) Kommer and Diana Kommer, as well as one great-granddaughter Madeleine.
Earla’s memory is also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Earla was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, and her beloved daughter, Stephanie Kommer.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters; Rose, Jane and Lois, and one brother; Byron “Barney”.
Funeral services have been trusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home, 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro, PA 16153 where family and friends are welcome from 11AM-1PM on Wednesday, April 3, with a memorial service to follow at 1PM.
The memorial service will be livestreamed on the funeral home’s Facebook page.
