Elderly Women Robbed at Gunpoint at Grove City Outlet Mall

GROVE CITY, Pa. (EYT) – Police say a trio of elderly women were robbed at gunpoint at the Grove City Premium Outlets on Sunday night.

According to a published article on WFMJ News, the robbery occurred around 7:15 p.m. as three elderly women were leaving the Grove City Premium Outlets.

Police say the women were in an alleyway walking from the Grove City Premium Outlets to the Marriott Hotel when a male approached them on foot and showed them a handgun.

He then allegedly ordered the women to hand over their bags, police say.

According to police, the man forcefully removed the women’s purses and bags and then fled back towards the Outlet Mall parking lot.

Police believe the man got into a dark colored car near the alleyway’s entrance.

The suspect is described as a white male between 5’6″ and 5’8″ with a stocky build wearing a black knit pull over cap and dark clothing.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Mercer-based State Police at (724) 662-6162.
