Ellen M. Vanatta, Age 76 of Grant St., Reynoldsville, Pa died Thursday, October 19, 2017, at The DuBois Nursing Home.
Born on October 16, 1941, in Clearfield, PA, she was the daughter of the late Bud & Jennie Synder.
On June 11, 1982, she married Dean F. Vanatta. He survives.
Ellen was a caregiver and a homemaker. She attended both the Lighthouse Church & the Sandy Valley Community Church.
She is survived by a stepdaughter (Anissa Marie Vanatta of St. Mary’s, PA), a stepsister (Carol Dunlap) a stepbrother (Harold Dunlap) and 3 step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her stepdaughter (Cathy) and stepbrother (Joe)
There will be no public visitation.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the Lighthouse Church in DuBois with Pastor’s Dean & Penny Smith officiating.
Memorials may be placed with the charity of the donor’s choice.
