Ernest Dale Hynds age 88 a lifelong resident of Maple Street Brockway, PA; passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017 at the Clarion Hospital.
He was born April 23, 1929, in Coal Glen, the son of the late Alex and Helen Brownlee Hynds.
He was married to Roberta Jean Miller on September 6, 1955, and she preceded him in death on May 22, 2013.
Known to his family and friends as “PaPa” he was a retired bus driver for Continental Trailways and drove tractor trailer for Brocious Trucking.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and life member of the Brockway Volunteer Hose Company.
He is survived by three children: Debbie (Thomas) Berlin, Eddie (Suzanne) Hynds and Sue Ann Matthews all of Brockway; six grandchildren: Jaime, Trisha, Jason, Angelina, Maria and Andrea; four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by three brothers: LeRoy, Richard and Robert Hynds. There will be no visitation or memorial service.

He will be buried along with his wife Roberta “NaNa” always and forever at Wildwood Cemetery in Brockway.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway.
