Fairmount City Man Facing Drug Charges

SLIGO, Pa. (EYT) — A Fairmount City man is facing drug charges after a traffic stop in Sligo Tuesday evening.

According to Clarion-based State Police, James Michael Patton, 24, was driving a motor vehicle on Route 68 Colerain St. in Sligo while his license was suspended.

A traffic stop was conducted and when Tpr. Doverspike approached the vehicle, smelled an odor of marijuana coming from it.

A mason jar of marijuana, a small bag of marijuana, and a glass pipe were seized.

Charges are pending against Patton in District Judge Duane Quinn’s office.
