YOUNG TOWNSHIP, Jefferson Co. (EYT) — A family of five escaped injury after their SUV crashed on Route 119 Tuesday in Young Township.
Frank Erickson, of Springfield, Ky., was driving a 1989 Chevy Suburban north on Route 119 when he lost control and slid off the road, struck a sign and then a utility pole.
Erickson, Bonnie Erickson, and three children were not injured. Both adults were wearing seat belts while the children were in safety seats.
Frank Erickson was cited for careless driving.
