Fighting Pit Bulls Leads to Drug Arrest in Brookville

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Brookville Borough Police were dispatched on February 16 around 4:00 p.m. for a complaint of two dogs fighting at a residence on Spruce St. in Brookville Borough.

According to police, two pit bulls were attacking another dog inside the residence. Police were successful in freeing the animal from harm.

During the course of the investigation, drugs and paraphernalia were discovered inside the residence.

Jefferson County Dog Enforcement launched its own investigation about the pit bull fighting incident.

The owner of the pit bulls is being charged with drug violations.

No further information was provided by police.

Per Brookville Police Department policy, the name of the accused was not released.
