Four Injured in Route 36 Rollover Crash

state_policeWESTOVER BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – Four people were injured Sunday in a rollover crash on Route 36 in Westover Borough, Clearfield County.

Punxsutawney-based State Police say the accident happened on Sunday around 4:58 p.m. when a southbound 1998 Toyota Corolla operated by Kyler Whiteford, 20, of Westover, swerved into the northbound lane of Route 36.

Whiteford’s vehicle then traveled back into the southbound lane and exited the roadway before striking an embankment.

Her vehicle then traveled approximately 51 feet and rolled over before coming to a rest on the southbound berm.

Whiteford and a passenger, Katherine Batten-Kine, 20, of Glen Campbell, suffered minor injuries in the crash.

Two juvenile passengers also suffered minor injuries.

Westover and Hasting Fire Departments assisted at the scene.
