Four Jefferson County Residents Injured in Crash

state_police CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) – Four people were injured yesterday in a two-vehicle crash in Brady Township, Clearfield County.

State Police in DuBois say the accident happened yesterday around 5:08 p.m. on Carson Hill Road near its intersection with Dutch Road.

According to police, a 2004 Pontiac Aztek operated by Richard J. Fike, 57, of Sykesville, stopped to make a left turn and was struck in the rear by a 2003 GMC Sierra 2500 operated by Michael P. Snell, 38, of Brookville.

Fike was uninjured; however, a passenger in his vehicle, James Fike 79, of Sykesville, was transported to DuBois Regional Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.

Snell was using a seat belt and was not injured.

Three passengers in his vehicle – Kirsten Bremer, 43, and two other passenger, all of Brookville – suffered minor injuries.

They were transported to DuBois Regional Medical Center.

They were using seat belts.

Snell was cited with Careless Driving.

Brady Township Ambulance assisted at the scene.
