Frank Albert Krajewski

Frank Albert Krajewski, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021 at the age of 85, at Christ the King Manor in DuBois, Pennsylvania.

Surrounded by family and loved ones, who he held close to his heart, Frank courageously battled numerous medical issues and remained strong until he was called home to God’s heavenly kingdom.

Born on November 15, 1936 in Reynoldsville, PA, Frank was the son of John and Frances (Biggie) Krajewski.

During his life, Frank valued his work and demonstrated a strong work ethic.

He was the Co-Operator for Trout Run Dairy Farm for 35 years, served two terms as Supervisor for Winslow Township, drove truck for Halls Trucking for 12 years, and, most recently, held the position of Co-Owner and Co-Operator of Krajewski Farms and Krajewski Custom Meats – where he had an undying commitment to his work.

On August 2, 1958, Frank married Maurice Cecilia (Bruno) Krajewski in Brockway, PA.

They both later became long standing members of St. Mary’s Church in Reynoldsville, PA where Frank served as an usher for many years.

Married for 63 years, with a lifetime of memories, Frank was a hardworking, loving, and caring husband who always enjoyed spending time with Maurice.

Frank loved relaxing on their front porch, enjoying a family cookout, sitting around a campfire, or spending a weekend at camp together.

Frank also had a number of hobbies and interests he enjoyed throughout his life.

He was a passionate farmer who eventually became the primary caregiver for the barn cats and cows.

Aside from farming, Frank treasured every opportunity to go camping, hunting, and fishing, where he could appreciate nature and the outdoors.

Most notably, Frank was particularly fond of fly fishing and hunting whitetail deer with his flintlock rifle at the family camp – Camp Buckhorn. Additionally, Frank was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan who followed the team closely and looked forward to watching every game.

Frank was preceded in death by his father and mother, John and Frances (Biggie) Krajewski, two brothers, Paul (and his wife Louise) and Joseph, sister, Josephine (Krajewski) Topeka (and husband Emery), two nephews, Gordan and Terrence Topeka, and a cousin, John Biggie.

Frank is survived by his wife, Maurice (Bruno) Krajewski, two sons, Robert Krajewski (and wife Pamela) and William Krajewski (and wife Laurie), five grandchildren, Robert Jr. (and wife Lauren Kilanowska), Elizabeth, Michael, Ashley, and Heather Krajewski, and four great-grandchildren, Kayley and Maxwel Risser and Benjamin and Emily Krajewski.

Donations can be made in Frank’s memory to Special Olympics: Pennsylvania (specialolympicspa.org) and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (stjude.org).

There will be no public viewing/visitation.

A funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Frank will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Reynoldsville, PA.
