Frank Eugene Hetrick

frank-hetrickFrank Eugene Hetrick, 71, of Brookville died Wednesday November 16, 2016 at the Jefferson Manor in Brookville, Pa.

Born March 5, 1945 in Brookville, he was the son of the late Frank Edward and Lucy Catherine (Neill) Hetrick.

Frank attended Brookville Area High School. He was formerly married to Janet Fetzer, she survives. He was a member of the U.S. Army Reserves from 1965 to 1971 attaining the rank of E4. Frank was employed as an over the road truck driver until his retirement in 2006. He was a former member of the Brookville Fireman’s Club and Brookville Aerie 983 Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed camping and raising tropical fish.

Frank is survived by a son, James Douglas Hetrick of Greeneville, Tenn.; a grand-daughter, Lindsey Taylor Hetrick of Aspon, Tenn.; a brother, Richard David (Mary Lou) Hetrick of Summerville, Pa.; a brother-in-law, Wilbur “Bill” Mapes of Grove City, Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Frank is preceded in death by two sisters Barbara Jean Mapes, and Helen Catherine Smith.
There will be no public visitation. Interment will be in the Brookville Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Brookville FOE 983 or the Brookville Firemen’s Club.
