CLEARFIELD, Pa. (GANT) – A Clearfield man is behind bars after allegedly being found in possession of multiple drugs including 50 grams of methamphetamine.

Devin E. Luzier, 23, is charged by Clearfield Regional police with felony manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, as well as misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance (three counts), possession of marijuana and use/possession of drug paraphernalia (10 counts).
The charges stem from Sept. 22 when police were called to assist county probation at Luzier’s Leavy Avenue residence, according to the affidavit of probable cause.
Luzier had reportedly showed positive for drug use, resulting in a consent search that turned up a gym bag containing multiple plastic baggies, two digital scales, multiple items with residue, seven blue tablets, seeds, a plastic baggie with a white crystallized substance and a jar with a green vegetable matter.
In an interview with police, Luzier said if he had been aware of the gym bag’s contents, he would have told probation. He claimed he wasn’t sure if the bag belonged to himself, or another relative who had been staying there with him until they left about three weeks earlier.
Police returned all contents to the gym bag, and secured it inside their patrol unit. Luzier was transported to jail by probation and detained for the violation.
At the station, the blue tablets were determined to be oxycodone hydrochloride. The vegetable matter and crystallized substance turned up positive for THC and methamphetamine, police said.
There was over 30 grams of marijuana and 50 grams of methamphetamine, according to the report.
Further investigation revealed messages showing Luzier was selling narcotics.
On Sept. 23, police spoke with Luzier at the jail and read a department waiver of search warrant form for electronic media. He gave consent for a search of his phone, then stating “I’ll make it easier for you; that was all mine.”
On his phone, police allegedly found multiple images of drugs, messages about drug sales and CashApp transactions (ranging from $5 – $60 for smaller amounts of drugs) with known drug users.
Luzier waived his right to a preliminary hearing Wednesday, sending his case to county court. He’s currently being held in county jail in lieu of $250,000 bail.
