Both Jonathan Marlin Lippart, 21, and Jarrod Morgan Gesin, 42, DuBois, were charged with robbery in connection with an incident in the East End of Clearfield in March.

According to the affidavit, the teens saw on “Snapchat” that Lippart was offering to pay money for a ride. They picked him up at a convenience store.

After he got into the vehicle, he asked if they could pick up a friend at his residence on Hill Street. They asked to be taken to Dorey Street.

Once at that location, Lippart tased the passenger while Gesin tased the driver from the back seat. They then asked for the teens to give them “everything they got.” They took a wallet, a cell phone and the keys to the vehicle from the victims.

Lippart pleaded guilty Monday to robbery, terroristic threats, and theft by unlawful taking before President Judge Fredric J. Ammerman, who sentenced him to one to five years in state prison with five years concurrent probation.

Last week, Gesin pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice, a misdemeanor, and was sentenced to 12 months to two years in state prison by Ammerman.
