Glenn Homer Adams, 70, of Punxsutawney, PA, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021, while a patient at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh, PA.
He was born on May 5, 1950, to the late Reed Robert and Jean Vivetta (Milliron) Adams in Punxsutawney. He graduated from Punxsutawney High School.
After high school Glenn joined the United States Army. He was a heavy equipment operator and worked most recently in Ohio. Glenn was a quiet man who enjoyed the simple things in life, especially nature and outdoor activities.
Glenn is survived by seven nieces and nephews; Retta (Wazelle) Cebulskie; Merle Wazelle; Deborah Wazelle; Brenda Swineford; Kimberly (Gruver) Evans; Gary “Junior” Gruver; and Steve Gruver.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in passing by all of his siblings; Reed R. Adams; Carrie L. (Adams) Gruver; Loretta J. (Adams) Wazelle; Dale G. Adams; and Charles F. Adams.
Services will be held privately by the family and have been entrusted to the Snyder – d’Argy Funeral Home, 206 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851. Final interment will take place at Zion Cemetery, Porter, Jefferson Co., PA.
