Grace Louise (Buhite) Sprague, 86 of Punxsutawney formerly of Reynoldsville, died on Sunday, January 7, 2018, at Select Specialty Hospital in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
She was born Saturday, May 23, 1931, in Winslow Twp., Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Harry and the late Twila (Zufall) Buhite.
October 15, 1948, she married Ralph B. Sprague, who preceded her in death Nov. 9, 2011.
Mrs. Sprague was a member of Paradise United Church of Christ, Reynoldsville.
Surviving relatives include two sons, Thomas Sprague and wife Donna of Reynoldsville, PA and Donald Sprague and wife Brenda of DuBois, PA, two daughters, Shirley Wachob and husband Lyle of Punxsutawney, PA, and Cathy Gourley and husband Bill of Youngsville, PA, sisters, Geneva Knarr of Punxsutawney, PA, and Edna Reiter of Curwensville, PA; eight grand children; eight great grand children.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by four brothers Raymond, Harold, Luther and Robert Buhite and Four Sisters Mary Syphrit, Chloe Annabel Graham, Dorothy Kirkwood and Mabel Knarr and a grandson Wayne Gourley.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday January 13, 2018, at Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home Inc. in Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania with the Rev. Audra Krise officiating. Interment will be in Lakelawn Memorial Park , Reynoldsville, PA.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2018, at Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home Inc. in Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania.
