Grace S. Lingenfelter, 90 of Mahaffey, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at her home with her family by her side.
She was born July 23, 1933, to Harry and Goldie (Hockenberry) Noel in LaJose.
Grace attended Solider Community Church and she was a former member of the Mahaffey Grange.
She enjoyed watching old Western movies, growing bamboo, baking, and taking care of her family and pets.
She had a quick sense of humor.
She is survived by her two sons and a daughter: William M. Lingenfelter, (Betty) MD, Vada M. Graham, Mahaffey, and Floyd “Skeeter” Lingenfelter, Mahaffey; as well as six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Muriel Briggs, (James), NY; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William L. Lingenfelter, in 1990, and two sons: Ricky and Dennis Lingenfelter.
Friends will be received on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM at the Waldron Funeral Home, 831 Market Street, Mahaffey, PA 15757, with Rev. James Hurd officiating.
Interment will take place at Otterbine Cemetery, Mahaffey
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Otterbine Cemetery Association, C/O Rev. Alan Kratz, PO Box 54, Cherry Tree, PA 15724.
