CHICAGO – Samantha Griebel of Punxsutawney recently finished fourth in the nation in the 10-years old and 11-years old division at the 2018 National Elks Hoops Shoot in Chicago.

The event was a 3-day event with the competition taking place on Saturday, April 21, on the main court of Loyola University.
The top 12 competitors from each region of the United States competed in the free-throw competition after each shooter won their local, district, state and regional contests to advance to the nationals.
This was the second time Griebel advanced to the national competition winning the national championship in her age group two years ago.
