Nightmare-Lane Haunted Hay-Ride & Walking Trail
Where: Moonlite Drive-In Theatre in Brookville, PA
When: October 23, 24, 29, 30, and 31 from 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Additional Info: Benefits the Brookville Volunteer Fire Department. After the hayride on family night weekend there will be a kid friendly feature. The other 3 weekends there will be a special Halloween viewing of very scary movies on the big screen. There will be food available at the concession stand. Walking trail starts at 8:00 PM.

Haunted Barn

When: Friday and Saturdays through October 31st.
Additional Info: Looking for a laugh, scare or just something new do to. Come and see us in October. Opening night Oct 10th then every Fri & Sat thru Oct 31st. 7PM-10PM. Halloween Fun at Blackbird Distillery
Where: Blackbird Distillery, 93 Blackout Alley, Brookville, PA

Additional Info: October 30-Nov 1st We’re all treats and no tricks for Halloween weekend! Dress like a hillbilly and be eligible to win an Exclusive Blackbird Distillery prize. We’ll have free hillbilly teeth and the Blackbird mascot will be on hand to say Boo!

Cathedral by Candlelight
Where: Log Cabin Inn Environmental Learning Classroom, Cook Forest State Park
When: Friday, October 30, 7:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Additional Info: Want to experience something different this year for Halloween instead of the standard “trick-or-treaters”? Come walk back in time with us into the depths of the Forest Cathedral with an historical character from the past. Come view the ancient forest as we walk beneath the giants by candlelight. Either a French Marine from the 1750’s who saw these massive trees 250 years ago, or a lumberman from the 1800’s will be there to guide us. Candy and hot chocolate will be served at the Log Cabin Inn Environmental Learning Classroom. Bring your flashlights!

Community Trunk-or-Treat
Where: Jefferson Manor, 417 Rt 28, Brookville, PA

Additional Info: The community is invited to bring children out for a great time of fun and treats. Rain or shine.

Punxsutawney Halloween Fest
Where: Barclay Square, Punxsutawney, Pa.
When: Saturday, October 31st, 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Additional Info: Costume judging, games and prizes for the kids. All proceeds benefits Punxsutawney React.

Halloween Half 5K and Bike Race
Where: Farmer’s Inn, Sigel, PA.
When: Sunday, November 1st
Additional Info: This race will be chip timed. Certified course with mile markers. Trophies to all finishers of the half-marathon. Full course buffet meal for all entrants. Seven age groups. Awards to top three overall male and female in each race. Tee shirts guaranteed to all pre-registered and will be available while the supply lasts on race day. Registration ends Friday, October 30th. Additional Info: The event is open to children ages 10 and under. Event organizers request that participants do not wear masks. Activities include games, treats, prizes, and more. Those attending are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to Community Services of Venango County.

Train of Terror Halloween Mystery
Where: OC&T Railroad

Camp Coffin Family Halloween Party
Where: Camp Coffman
When: October 23 – October 24, 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Additional Info: The Oil City YMCA is hosting the annual Camp Coffin Family Halloween Party on Friday and Saturday October 24 and 25 from 5-9 pm each evening. The gate fee is $15 a carload. The event will feature kids carnival style games and crafts, creepy clowns and sideshow wonders. There will be horse drawn wagon rides from 5 pm to dusk and our haunted hayride from dusk to 9 pm. Concessions will be available. Please bring a flashlight and dress for the weather. All proceeds benefit YMCA Camp Coffman. Event Cost: $15 a carload

Franklin’s Halloween
Where: Bandstand Park, Franklin, Pa.
When: October 31, 5:00 p.m.
Additional Info: Franklin Halloween Costume Judging & Treat Bags followed by Trick-or-Treat from 6-8 PM
