Harry W. McLeod

Harry W. McLeod, 91, Reynoldsville, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Christ the King Manor.

Born November 23, 1929, in DuBois, he was the son of the late Harry Daniel and Elizabeth (Morse) McLeod.

His wife, Dolores (North) McLeod preceded him in death on June 15, 2000.

Harry graduated from the DuBois Area High School and served in the U.S. Navy. He was employed by Bell Telephone as a switchman before his retirement. Harry was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Reynoldsville.

In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and fly tying. He was a former Scout Master as well as a volunteer for the Literacy Council. Harry was a member of the John M. Reed #536 Masonic Lodge in Reynoldsville.

Harry is survived by four children, Brenda (Bobby) Colclasure, Collierville, TN, Laurie McLeod-Flynn, Maryland, Pamala McLeod and her companion, Greg Hopkinds, DuBois, and Karen Spencer, Reynoldsville, ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

In addition to his parents and wife, Harry was preceded in death by his son, Harry Michael McLeod, his sister, Helen Daugherty, and his previous wife, Dolores McLeod.

There will be no public visitation or service. A Service of Remembrance is planned for a later date. Interment will be in Lakelawn Memorial Park.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium.
