Hearing for Brookville Man Busted for Meth Continued

JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – A hearing for a Brookville man facing felony drug charges was continued this week.

Court documents indicate a hearing for 48-year-old Paul L. Hannold scheduled for Wednesday, April 1, was continued and is scheduled to resume at 9:00 a.m. on June 2.

Hannold faces the following charges:

– Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony
– Possession of Controlled Substance, Misdemeanor (two counts)
– Use/Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor (four counts)

He is currently lodged in the Jefferson County Jail on $50,000.00 monetary bail.

The charges stem from a search of a residence in Brookville Borough earlier this month.

According to a criminal complaint, on March 12, agents from the Jefferson County Drug Task Force and officers of the Brookville Borough Police Department served a search warrant at a residence on North White Street, in Brookville Borough, where Paul Hannold and Jeanie Clinger reside with several small children.

The complaint states that during the search of the residence, inside a bedroom utilized by Hannold and Clinger, police located an Ice Breakers container of small, ziplock-style, clear baggies containing a crystal substance, weighing approximately 0.33 grams each, with a total weight of approximately 2.34 grams total.

According to the complaint, mushrooms, methamphetamine, used and loaded syringes, straws, numerous pills, and large quantities of U.S. currency were also found in the bedroom of the residence.

Hannold was arraigned in front of Judge Bazylak at 9:34 a.m. on Sunday, March 15.

Case against Jeanie Clinger

Clinger was arraigned in front of Judge Bazylak at 8:46 a.m. on Sunday, March 15, on the following charges:

– Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony
– Possession of Controlled Substance, Misdemeanor
– Use/Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor (four counts)

She remains lodged in the Jefferson County Jail on $50,000.00 monetary bail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on May 5, with Judge Bazylak presiding.
