Hearing Scheduled for Coolspring Man Accused of Stealing Elderly Woman’s Purse in Walmart

YOUNG TWP., Pa. (ETY) – A Coolspring man is facing a preliminary hearing on theft and related charges stemming from a theft at Walmart in Young Township, Jefferson County.

The purse was turned into the customer service desk around 11:45 a.m. and later returned to its owner.

Rowell was identified and interviewed at his residence on March 20, where he admitted to taking the purse and the cash inside of it, according to the complaint.
