Hearing Set for Next Week for Woman Accused of Using Forged Check from Closed Account to Pay Fine

REYNOLDSVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – A hearing is scheduled for next week for a Brockway woman who allegedly used a forged check from a closed checking account to pay for a fine.

Court documents indicate 38-year-old Jenifer Gwen Guaglianone is scheduled to stand for a preliminary hearing in front of Magisterial District Judge David B. Inzana at 11:30 a.m. on November 30, on the following charges:

– Forgery -Utters Forged Writing, Felony 2
– Theft by Deception-False Impression, Misdemeanor 2

The charges stem from an incident that took place in late April.

According to a criminal complaint, on April 30, Jenifer Guaglianone passed a $50.00 check to Magisterial District Court 54-3-02 to pay a fine.

The complaint indicates it was then found that Guaglianone had used a check from a known man’s account and had signed his name.

The check Guaglianone used was also found to be from an account that had been closed, according to the complaint.

The charges were filed against Guaglianone through Magisterial District Judge David B. Inzana’s office on November 1.
