Helen M. Lutz

Helen M. Lutz, 89, formerly of Sigel, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024 at the Western Reserve Altercare in Stow, OH.

She was born on October 20, 1934 in East McKeesport; daughter of the late Louis L. and Mary C. Kozak Baer.

Helen married Raymond R. Lutz on November 18, 1942, who preceded her in death on January 29, 2011.

She worked as a Textile Worker for Phenix Dye in Ohio where she was also the Union President.

Helen then worked in Cook Forest in her later years.

Helen was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Clarion.

She loved crafting, singing and dancing, especially polka.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Bernice Clark; her granddaughters, Cassondra Clark and Amber Clark; a great granddaughter, Sierra Cook; and her brothers, James Baer and Walter Baer.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Raymond A. Lutz; her son-in-law, John Clark; and a grandson, Timothy Lutz.

The family would like to extend a thank you to Helen’s caregiver, Jenny Whitman, who was very special to Helen, for her excellent care and compassion.

The Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion is handling the arrangements.

There will be no public visitation and all services will be private.

Interment will take place in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery.
