Hit-and-Run Crash Under Investigation in Rose Township

ROSE TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Police say a hit-and-run crash was reported late Monday morning in Rose Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, around 11:31 a.m. on Monday, October 22, a hit-and-run crash occurred as an unknown vehicle was traveling south of State Route 28 just west of James Lane.

Police say the vehicle exited the roadway and into a residential yard where it struck a mailbox and two newspaper boxes before reentering the roadway and continuing south on State Route 28.

The driver did not stop to notify the property owner of the damage.
