Irvin M. London

He was born May 26, 1930, in Bell Township, a son of the late Bertha (Zimmerman) and Irvin M. London, Sr.

On June 26, 1954, he married Delores D. London, who preceded him in death on June 1, 2015.

Irvin was a member of the First Assembly of God Church of Punxsutawney.

He attended the Trout Run School.

Irvin worked as a dairy farmer for most of his life, he worked part time as a laborer at Mahoning Valley Milling Co., the Coal Tipple and as a school bus driver.

He enjoyed hunting, farming, and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Surviving relatives include four sons, Meade London and wife Linda of Punxsutawney, Russ London and wife Renda of Punxsutawney, Doug London of Pinedale, WY, and Scott London of Weippe, ID; four grandchildren, Shawn London and wife Dana of Punxsutawney, Shannon London and wife Gina of Punxsutawney, Kara Cochran of Punxsutawney and Corey London and wife Shannon of Punxsutawney; and seven great-grandchildren, Addison London, Sophia London, Damien, Brianna and Ali Cochran and Alyssa and Jase London; a sister Eileen Parrish; and a brother Walter London.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Knarr and Ethel Yoder; three brothers, Robert H. London, Arthur London, and William G. London; and a granddaughter Amber (London) Ratay.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, March 25, 2016, at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 26, 2016, at the First Assembly of God of Punxsutawney with Pastor Lloyd Getch officiating.

Interment will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Oliveburg.

Memorial contributions may be made, in memory of Mr. London, to the First Assembly of God, 2785 Walston Road, Punxsutawney, PA 15767.
