James L. Marsh, 77, Falls Creek, passed away Friday, February 5, 2021, at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Born January 21, 1944, he was the son of the late Harmon L. and Lottie (Keller) Marsh.
On April 3, 1973, he married Linda (Podowick) Marsh in DuBois. She survives.
James graduated from the DuBois Area High School in 1962. He was a truck driver for many years. James loved working on old cars, antiques, and listening to all kinds of music. He was a Christian. James was a veteran of the U.S. Marines.
In addition to his wife, James is survived by two children, Ray (Esther) Marsh, Reynoldsville, and Elizabeth Marsh, DuBois, and four grandchildren, Rachel Marsh, Julia Marsha, Alexa Decato, and Isaac Marsh. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
James was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jack Marsh.
Friends and family will be received Wednesday, February 10, 2021, from 2-4 p.m. at the Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium. Immediately following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. from the funeral chapel with Pastor David Nagele officiating.
Military honors will be accorded by the DuBois Area Honor Guard. Interment will be in Beechwoods Cemetery.
To adhere to current state regulations, face coverings are required and social distancing will be practiced. In addition, visitors are asked to keep their visit brief to allow others to pay their respects.
Memorial donations may be made to the organization of the donor’s choice.
