OI1361520635_EbersoleJason[1]Jason E. Ebersole, 34, of Everett, Pennsylvania; went home to be with his Lord on January 29, 2015 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

He was born in Everett, Pennsylvania on April 6, 1980; a son of Jeanne (Clark) Ebersole – Weddle and step father Eugene Weddle of Everett and the late John Ebersole, Jr. On June 30, 2007 in the Breezewood Lighthouse Church, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Shirley (Lunger).

Along with his wife, mother and step-father, he is survived by the following family:

Brother: John Ebersole III and fiancé Nicole Burket, Bedford, PA

Grandmother: Gaye Clark, Everett, PA

Father and Mother-in-law: Donald and Barbara Lunger, Rossiter, PA

Step-Sisters: Wendy Haugh and Holly Dupont both of Waynesboro, PA

Brother-in-law: Donald Lunger, Punxsutawney, PA

Sister-in-law: Judy Sprankle, Rossiter, PA

Nieces and Nephews: Alaura Ebersole, Kristen Lunger, Jackie Dupont, Hannah Dupont, Jonathan Sprankle, Donald Sprankle, Seth Burket, Kyle Burket, Allan Fasel, Michael Haugh and Nathan Haugh.

Great Nieces and Nephew: Kaden Sprankle, Samantha Sprankle, Brody Haugh and Bailyn Dupont.

Many aunts, uncles and cousins.

And special extended family, his nurses: Theresa Frazier and Lisa June.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: John Ebersole Sr. and Stella Ebersole and maternal grandfather: James Clark.

Jason was a graduate of Everett Area High School Class of 1998 and a graduate of Johnstown Community College in 2002 with an associate in Communications.

He was an active member of the Everett Seventh Day Adventist Church, where he served as a Elder. He was proud of his church affiliation and was always willing to spread the gospel.

He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan, Nascar Fan and hockey fan. Jason was a member of the Bedford Sportsmen’s Club.

Jason had a wonderful sense of humor and a positive spirit, always looking to make someone smile.

Friends and Family will be received at the Everett Seventh Day Adventist Church on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. and on Wednesday at the church from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service at the church.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at the Everett Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Robert Snyder officiating.

Burial will be held privately at the Everett Cemetery.

If friends so desire memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mr. Ebersole to the Everett Seventh Day Adventist Church, 203 Drive-in Lane, Everett, PA 15537.
