Jeep Stuck in Snow Bank Leads to Drug Arrest

Police car lightsWINSLOW TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – According to Dubois-based State Police, around 4:15 a.m. on March 11, a 24-year-old man was arrested for Drug Possession and related offenses on Sunflower Drive, in Winslow Township, Jefferson County.

Police say a known 24-year-old man was stopped on a report of a vehicle violation.

Upon arrival at the scene, police observed his 2003 Jeep Cherokee stuck in a snow embankment.

The operator was subsequently arrested for DUI, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana.

Charges are pending BAC results.

The name of the suspect was not released.
