Jefferson Co. Woman Accused of Breaking into Residence, Stealing Pills and Money Due in Court Next Week

HENDERSON TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A Jefferson County woman accused of breaking into a Henderson Township residence and taking cash and prescription medication is due in court next week.

According to court documents, 25-year-old Marissa Marie Frantz of Sykesville is scheduled to stand for a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge David B. Inzana at 9:45 a.m. on Friday, September 28, on the following charges:

  • Burglary – Overnight Accommodation, No Person Present, Felony 1
  • Criminal Trespass-Break Into Structure, Felony 2
  • Theft By Unlawful Taking-Movable Property, Misdemeanor 2
  • Receiving Stolen Property, Misdemeanor 2
  • Criminal Mischief – Damage Property, Summary

Details of the case:

A criminal complaint filed by Tpr. Green indicates that Frantz removed a window from its tracks to gain entry to a residence in Henderson Township during a time she knew the victim would be at work.

The victim reported approximately twenty-five 10mg Cyclobenzaprine tablets and $150.00 cash were missing following the break-in.

According to the complaint, Frantz admitted to breaking the window and entering the residence through the opening.

Charges were filed against Frantz on Monday, August 6, in Magisterial District Judge David B. Inzana’s office.
