Details of the Child Rape Case

Punxsutawney Borough Police say the incidents occurred at a residence on Marion Avenue in Punxsutawney against two children sometime between June 1, 2016 and November 12, 2016.

According to the criminal complaint filed by Punxsutawney Borough Police Officer Andrekovich, a child line report was received on November 13, 2016, regarding the alleged offenses.

An interview was held on November 14 at Western PA Cares For Kids in Brookville.

The complaint states that one of the two victims told the interviewer that Beer touched them inappropriately in their vaginal area when they were staying at his residence. One of the victims was afraid to tell what Beer was doing.

The victims were placed in protective custody, the complaint continues.

Beer was later interviewed by Guy Felmlee, detective in the Jefferson County District Attorney’s office. He allegedly admitted to touching one of the girls in her vaginal area and also gave a written statement, according to the complaint.
