Jefferson County Man Falls Victim to Identity Theft

SNYDER TWP., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police are investigating an incident of identity theft in Snyder Township.

Around 4:52 p.m. on May 5, fraudulent activity was reported to the DuBois-based State Police.

Police say a known 63-year-old Brockway man’s debit card and personal information were breached in order to process several transactions at Best Buy.

According to police, $238.96 was fraudulently withdrawn from the victim’s debit card account.
