Jefferson County Recipe of the Day: Butterscotch Snack Cake

A moist and delicious snack for your holiday meal!

Butterscotch Snack Cake

Ingredients

1 reg. size pkg. cook-and-serve butterscotch pudding mix
2 cups milk
1 pkg. yellow cake mix (regular size)
1 – 11 oz. pkg. butterscotch chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

~Preheat oven at 350°.

~In a large saucepan, combine pudding mix and milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat; stir in dry cake mix.

~Pour into a greased 13 x 9″ baking pan. Sprinkle with butterscotch chips and nuts.

~Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
