Joan A. Boruch, 56, DuBois, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015, at DuBois Nursing Home.
She was born June 6, 1959 in Philadelphia, PA. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Concannon and Joan Gallagher Concannon Gibbs. She first married Robert F. Runyon, Sr., who preceded her in death in 2001; and she then married Frank Boruch who survives in DuBois.
Joan is also survived by eight children: Deborah Gibbs of Philadelphia, Joan Rogers and husband Albert of DuBois, Heather Runyon Zaki and husband Ebba of Philadelphia, Robert Runyon of DuBois, Patrick Runyon of DuBois, Michael Cluff and wife Amanda of DuBois, Andrew Runyon of DuBois and Frank Boruch, III of DuBois; three sisters: Mary Gibbs Drautz and husband David, Teresa Gibbs Runyon and husband Chris, Margaret Concannon DelosRios and husband Dan; two brothers: Robert Gibbs and wife Annie and Edward Gibbs; twenty-two grandchildren.
Joan was a graduate of Roxborough High School in Philadelphia, PA.
She lived in the DuBois area since 1999. She enjoyed dancing and spending time with her family.
Joan was also preceded in death by a sister: Anna Concannon Alvin and two brothers: James Gibbs and Thomas Concannon.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 27, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home in DuBois.
Services will also be held on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
