John Allen Wilson, 76, of Five Mile Run Rd. Brookville, Pa., passed away on Monday, July 22, 2013, at home.
Born on November 8, 1936, in Emporium, Pa., he was the son of John Thomas Wilson and Vivian Reed Wilson/
He was married on May 2, 1994, in Winchester, VA, to Monna Snyder, who survives.
John worked as a car mechanic for the Shawmut Railroad in Brookville, Pa. for 24 years, retiring in 1996.
He enjoyed hunting and tinkering. He especially enjoyed his family and was loved by all.
He is survived by two sons, William Allen Wilson (Ellen) of Orange Park, FLA, and Wayne Andrew Wilson (Ronda) of Corsica, Pa.; and two daughters, Christene Ann Wilson Bland of Middleburg, FLA, and Kim Means (Jake) of Brookville, Pa.
He is also survived by a sister, Faye Wilson Dalglish of Roanoke, VA; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He was precedd in death by his parents and a brother Bernard “Bernie” Wilson.
Private services were held by the family.
Interment will be at Riggs Cemetery in Warsaw Twp., Jefferson Co., Pa.
