John Marshall Taylor, 68 of Punxsutawney, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Taylor was born April 8, 1947 in Punxsutawney, a son of the late Thomas W. and Frances (Witherow) Taylor.
He was married to his beloved wife Dena (Greene) Taylor of Punxsutawney. She survives. John was a huge Nascar fan and loved watching the races.
He also enjoyed time in the woods hunting with his grandsons.
In addition to his wife Dena, John is survived by one daughter; Laura Deet and husband Ronald of Punxsutawney, two grandsons; Lance Deet and wife Angela, Lukas Marshall Deet and great grandson; Matthew Beau Deet, one brother; William Taylor and wife Nancy of Erie, and one sister; Diane Bair and husband Clifford of Punxsutawney.
Viewing and interment is private for family. A memorial service will be held at 11 am Saturday, November 14, 2015 at the Scotland Avenue Church of God.
