Joseph E. Masonis, Jr., Age 53 of DuBois, PA died Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital.
Born on November 23, 1969 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of Joseph E. Masonis Sr. of DuBois, PA and Karen L. (Beam) Henry of Rockton, PA.
Joe was a well-known car salesman in our area for many years and was a bartender at the Friendly Tavern and the Pulaski Club as well as other establishments around DuBois.
He was a member of the Sandy Hose Company # 1 Fireman’s Club and the Curwensville Moose Club.
Joe loved participating in fantasy sports leagues with his family and friends and loved to go for Sunday car rides with Sandy.
Joe was a well know, loveable guy with a quick wit and infectious smile.
He will be missed by all but his legacy will live on thru organ donation.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a fiancé, Sandy Bailor of DuBois, PA and her children Joshua & Danielle, a brother, Jamey Masonis & his fiancé Charleen of DuBois, PA, his step-father Mark Henry of Rockton, PA, a niece Morgan, and a nephew Derek.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 4 – 7 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.
A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 AM from the funeral home with Dick Hertlein officiating.
Burial will take place in Morningside Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
