Joseph F. “Pissy” Pisarchick Jr.

Thumbnail[1]Joseph F. “Pissy” Pisarchick Jr., age 86, of Harmony, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 while under the care of UPMC Passavant Hospital.

Born February 13, 1929 in Brockway, he was the son of the late Joseph F. and Estelle (Polites) Pisarchick.

Joe was a former member of St. Gregory Catholic Church. He worked as a truck driver for 52 years and retired after 30 years of service from Halstead Industries. He belonged to several organizations, including the V.F.W. in Evans City and the Harmony Moose for over 50 years. He was a past President and lifetime member of the Hungarian Beneficial Society of Zelienople. He was also a lifetime member of Conneaut Lake Park V.F.D. and Pymatuning Sportsmens Club. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved children, Gary Pisarchick of Worthington, PA, Kathy Pugachow of Cartersville, GA, Diane Watts of Butler and Rick Pisarchick of Evans City; his brother, Curtis Pisarchick of Conneautville, PA; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews and the Holeva family.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his brothers, Regis, Leonard and Tommy Pisarchick, his sister, Joann Mika, his grandson, Adam Richard Pisarchick and his granddaughter, Anna Marie “Sissy” Bonomo.

The Pisarchick family will welcome friends from 2-4 & 6 P.M. until the time of the Blessing Service at 8 P.M. on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at the Boylan Funeral Home, Inc., 324 E. Grandview Avenue, Zelienople, with Father Michael Roche, officiating.

Joe will be laid to rest at St. Tobias Cemetery in Brockway, PA.
