Joseph L. Cappetta age 84 of Brockway, Pa; passed away on December 21st 2014 at Highland View Health Care Center in Brockway.
He was born on December 30th, 1929 in Altoona, Pa; the son of the late Louis and Caroline Guarage Cappeta.
Joseph was married to Alma J. Elias and she survives.
He was a Korean War Veteran having served in the U.S. Navy.
Retired, he owned and operated Cappetta Sales & Service for 30 years.
He was a member of the V.F.W. and was a former member of the Horton Twp. Sportsmen’s Club.
He is survived by two sons: Michael (Lynda) Cappetta and Stephen (Pamela) Cappetta both of Brockway; his grandchildren Stephen, Kyle, Taylor, Katlyn Cappetta and Breanna Yohe; great grandchildren Tehya and Tegan as well as several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by two brothers: Anthony and James Cappeta both of Murrysville, Pa; two sisters: Rose Begali of Trafford, Pa; Jeanie (Herbert) Slaughenhaupt of Monroeville.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Robert Cappeta, two sisters Betty and Mary Lou and a son Joseph Cappetta.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 24 at 10:00 A.M. at. St. Tobias Church in Brockway, with Msgr. Charles Kaza presiding.
Burial will follow in St. Tobias Cemetery.
