Joseph R. Tami

Joseph R. Tami, 68, of Brockway, PA, passed away peacefully in Myrtle Beach on Friday October 20th surrounded by family.

He was the son of Robert & Jean Tami of Brockway, PA who preceded him in death.

Joe also had 4 siblings Bob, Mary, Mike, & Mark.

He was married to Cindy Tami of Brockway in which they enjoyed 47 years of marriage.

Prior to retiring, Joe was employed at Brockway Glass as a mould maker.

He was also active in the Knights of Columbus and member of St Tobias Church in which he enjoyed helping at the yearly spaghetti dinners and ushering weekly.

Joe was an avid outdoorsman who loved fly fishing, archery hunting, and spring gobbler.

When Joe was not in the woods or fishing with his son Joey he was enjoying his wife Cindy’s home made meatballs, going over for deserts at his daughter Ambers or solving the worlds problems on the phone at night with his daughter Autumn.

Joe loved life and his family more than anything.

He will always be known as an amazing fly fisherman, hunter, son, brother, husband, and most importantly father.

He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

He is survived by his wife Cindy Tami (Brockway, PA), daughter Amber Tami (Brockway, PA) daughter Autumn Tami (Myrtle Beach, SC), Son Joe Tami & Daughter in-law Lindsay Tami (Sarasota, FL).

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday November 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway with Pastor Kenneth Eddy officiating.
