Judith K. Leech, Age 75, of South 8th Street, DuBois, PA died on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Born on February 13, 1942, in DuBois, PA she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Katharyn (Thompson) Leech.
Judy retired after 35 years of service with the DuBois Area School District, where she taught 1st grade.
She was a member of the Falls Creek Presbyterian Church, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and DuBois Retired Teachers Association. She volunteered at the DuBois Area Historical Society and DuBois Regional Medical Center for many years.
She is survived by a sister (Gail Schuppenhauer and her husband Rev. Charles of Reynoldsville, PA), two nephews (Gary Taft of Reynoldsville, PA and Raymond Taft of Warren, PA), two nieces, who cared for her, (Carrie Prosper and her husband Jim of DuBois, PA and Jill Mancuso of DuBois, PA), and three great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at 12:30 p.m. from the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. with Pastor James Dixon of Elkton Presbyterian Church officiating.
Burial will be in Beechwoods Cemetery.
