Kimberly Diane McAfoose

Kimberly Diane McAfoose, 58, of Brookville, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017, unexpectedly at home.

She was born on November 6, 1958, in Clarion. The daughter of the late Glenn R. and Eleanor Boddorf Gruver.

Kimberly worked at Jefferson Manor as a care nurse.

She enjoyed bowling, quilting, going on trips to casinos and especially time with her dog, Thorton.

Kimberly is survived by a special friend, Keenan Crooks of Brookville, a son, Jason McAfoose and fiancée Kayla Waugaman of Brackenridge; a brother, Glenn L. Pete Gruver and wife Jean of Distant; three sisters, Carol Singleton and husband Dana of Greenville, Cindy Martin and Bert of Hawthorn, and Angel Notto and husband Steve of Ford City; Numerous nieces and nephews and Great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Judy Mangus; two nephews, Thomas Glenn Martin and Steven Notto and a great nephew, Buddy Ray King; And a dog, Sabu.

Family will receive friends from 1 to 8 pm on Monday, October 16, 2017, at the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn.

Funeral services will follow at 8 pm in the funeral home, with Pastor John Phillips officiating.

Interment will be in the Oakland Cemetery in Distant.
