Kristine L. (Carpenter) Becker

Kristine L. (Carpenter) Becker, of Walston, Pennsylvania, passed away 29 October 2021.

Kris as she was best known by, was born to Lewis G. and Helen R. (Skutt) Carpenter on 6 February 1958 in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

She was a 1976 graduate of Carmen High School.

She married John P. Becker on 24 November 1979 at the Kaneohe Marine Air Base in Kaneohe, Hawaii.

In December of 2001, Kris started Kristalyzed Imaging, a small home business that would transfer paper photos, slides and negatives to CD and DVD.

She proudly served as the Michigan Army National Guard’s 1st Battalion 125th Infantry’s Family Support Representative located in Flint Michigan, the unit in which her husband John served after leaving the U.S. Marines.

Besides restoring old photographs, crocheting and traveling, Kris enjoyed her family, especially her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her husband John of Walston, PA., mother Helen Carpenter of Davison, MI., sister Jonalee Slackta and her husband Joe of Burton MI., brother David Carpenter of Flint, MI., and brother Richard Carpenter and his wife Steffiney of Boyne City, MI.

In addition she is survived by cousins, aunts, uncles, many neices and nephews, great neices and nephews and countless friends.

There will be no viewing as she has requested cremation.

A memorial service will be held on November 24, 2021 at the Paradise United Church of Christ, 4225 Big Run Prescottville Rd. Reynoldsville, PA.

Reverend Barry Fillman will officate.
