LaRaine C. Miller, 91, formerly of Falls Creek, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Christ the King Manor.
Born August 1, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Edward W. and Effie E. (Corbin) Smith.
She married Max E. Miller on August 31, 1944. He preceded her in death on November 30, 1998.
LaRaine graduated from Falls Creek High School.
She previously worked at B.F. Goodrich, and most recently was a homemaker.
LaRaine helped at election polls for many years, traveled often with her husband, and loved spending time with her family.
She was Protestant by faith.
LaRaine is survived by four children, Julia A. Woodruff of Michigan, William (Patty) H. Miller of Reynoldsville, Jackie L. Lester of Falls Creek, and Edward M. Miller of Emporium, nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild. She was the last member of her immediate family.
At the family’s wish, all services were private. Interment will be in Beechwoods Cemetery.
