‘Lasermania’ Shows to Be Held at Clarion University Planetarium

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) – Clarion University is hosting “Lasermania” light shows every evening from November 7 to November 11 in the Donald D. Peirce Planetarium on campus.

Shows are open to students and the public, and admission is $5 per person.

A different show is featured each night.

On Thursday November 7, at 7:00 p.m., it’s time to just rock-out and have a good time with Lasermania. Enjoy a pure sensory adrenaline rush with a collection of the best rock and pop hits from 2005 to 2015. Lasermania is the pinnacle of high energy laser light shows, guaranteed to have audiences dancing in their seats.

Prismatica is showing on Thursday November 7, at 8:00 p.m. and on Friday November 8, at 7:00 p.m. Prismatica is a high-octant mix of the newest pop and rock songs from 2015 through today. Even audiences that are laser show veterans are sure to be blown away.

Laser Led Zeppelin is showing on Saturday, November 9, at 7:00 p.m. Get the Led out as lasers weave a monolithic Zeppelin experience for diehards that is a feast for both eyes and ears.

Transcend time and space with laserized versions of classic Zeppelin such as the Immigrant Song, Over the Hills and Far Away, Heartbreaker, Rock and Roll, Dazed and Confused, Whole Lotta Love, and of course, Stairway to Heaven. The melding of musical and photonic troubadours has never been purer.

On Sunday, November 10, Laser Safari is showing at 2:00 p.m. Cast off on an incredible ecological adventure that explores the secrets of two amazing ecosystems, the African Serengeti and South America’s Amazon Rainforest.

Laser Safari recreates these intriguing corners of the world in dazzling laser light in order to study their unusual climates and strange inhabitants. With the aid of Professor Percy Bristlebrow and L.U.C.I.E, the world’s only Laser Unified Computer and Interactive Entity, audiences of all ages are sure to have a fun and informative experience.

Finally, on Monday, November 11, Winter Holiday Laser Adventure will be showing at 7:00 p.m. Herald in the season of peace and joy with the Winter Holiday Laser Adventure, a bright, colorful laser sing-along. Get into the spirit with Holiday songs such as Let it Snow, Jingle Bell Rock, and Sleigh Ride, as well as a handful of appropriately-themed current pop songs wrapped-up into one captivating laser-light show.

During the show, follow the adventures of the world’s only laser penguin, Squeaky, as he tries to figure out how best to return home to Antarctica for the Holidays, a big challenge for a small, flightless bird. The Winter Holiday Laser Adventure is one show sure to capture the imaginations of audiences of all ages.
