Laura Jane (Hickman) Provenzano, 94, of Natrona Heights, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 6, 2022.
She was born May 6, 1927, in Eryton a daughter of the late Joseph & Martha Jane (Scull) Hickman.
Laura lived in Penfield prior to moving to Natrona Heights.
She was employed by Sylvania and later by B.F. Goodrich. Laura was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Natrona Heights and the Penfield Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary.
She volunteered as a Gray Lady at DuBois Hospital, was a Girl Scout leader in Penfield and was a member of the Card Club in Penfield with her long time friends.
Laura enjoyed spending time with the light of her life, her Macy and loved going to the Casino and would have stayed there forever.
Laura is survived by her daughter, Carol Kubla; grandson, Eric (Kari) Kubla; her very special great-granddaughter, Macy Kubla; great-grandchildren, Kelsey (Zack) Ridenour, Sydney (Stefan) Clair, Shelby Greece and Ross Greece; two great great-grandchildren; sister, Linda Paul; her “other daughter” Kimberly (Dan) Mangus and her many very special nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Laura was preceded in death by her husband. Louis A. Provenzano on February 28, 2022; son-in-law, Alex Kubla; brothers, Joseph, James “Kirby”, John “Jack”, Walter and Bill Hickman and by her sisters, Shirley Dippold, Joanne Galmoff and Wanda Petrilla.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of a blessing service at 4:00 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688.
Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
