Laurena C. Zenone, age 85 of DuBois, PA died Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Christ the King Manor.
Born on March 14, 1938 in Vandergrift, PA, she was the daughter of the late Dorsey K. and Freda (Lott) Luther.
On October 8, 1960 she married Carlo Zenone.
He preceded her in death on December 31, 2021.
Laurena had been employed as a clerk at GNC, a receptionist at the DuBois Area YMCA and a child care worker at DRMC Daycare.
She was a DRMC Volunteer, a member of the former Lithuanian Club, enjoyed bowling, cooking and baking and especially loved dancing with her husband Carlo to the Moore Brothers.
Laurena is survived by two daughters (Lisa DeMotte and her husband Don of DuBois, PA and Donna Zenone and her husband Link Hillwig of Grove City, PA) and one son (John Carlo Zenone of Atlanta, GA), ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother (Donald Luther) and one infant granddaughter (Serenity Sky Hillwig).
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023 from 5 -7 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 11 AM from the funeral home with Pastor Terry Felt officiating.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care Laurena received from the entire staff at Christ the King Manor.
