Learn About Historic Eclipse Happening in August at Weather Discovery Center

PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. (EYT) – The first solar eclipse since 1979 will happen on August 21, and the Weather Discovery Center in Punxsutawney is holding an event August 5 to get everyone ready.

Learn all about the eclipse and when we will see it through activities, lessons, and crafts happening at the Weather Discovery Center on Saturday, August 5, from 10:00 a.m. to noon.

It will only be a partial eclipse in Pennsylvania.

The admission is $10.00 and includes access to all Weather Discovery Center exhibits and video features in their theater.

Admission for children under two is free.

Pre-registration is preferred, but walk-ins welcome.
